Womens Hipster Pohutukawa Trees (Large only)
The Pohutukawa; the alternative Christmas tree! The New Zealand native is thus called because it has vibrant red flowers that are at their peak mid to late December.
This beautiful design is from an original linoprint by Australian artist Neil Mattila. Neil very kindly donated his fee to Project Crimson who over the last 26 years have been replanting Pohutukawa and its closely related cousin Rata, along with many other native trees throughout New Zealand.
'The Pohutukawa design was inspired by a visit to the North Island of New Zealand. I explore print making through the mediums of intaglio etching, vinyl-linocut prints, monotype prints, pastels and watercolours. The inspiration for my designs comes from my observations and travels.'

Thunderpants - Making Christmas pants more interesting since 1995.
Available from small to large, the hipster brief sit in the natural crease at the top of the leg and just under the navel. The hipster is cut with enough fabric to cover your bum and reach to your high hip area. We recommend the hipster if you are flat in the tummy and/or short in the rise to the waist. For many of us, the hipster does not reach over the apex of our tummy roll at which point the natural laws of gravity take over and the hipster will roll down. In this situation we have a solution in the higher waisted, original option. Like the original, the comfy bands hold your pants in place; so even the most active people won't have re-adjust!
90% Organic Cotton 10% Elastane
If you would like to keep the lovely designs of you pants fresh please don't bleach or soak your pants- it will cause the print to fade!
Please cold wash with a bit gentle detergent, then line dry in shade.
